I have been reflecting on the year that we have had, what a year it has been, and I have to thank you and all of your teams for all your hard work and support, during what has been a challenging time for us all
Your teams have had to adapt to new ways of working with cleaning guidelines, PPE etc and have risen to the challenge
I am not sure if you are aware, but we did a piece of work last week to understand our volumes of contacts during the Pandemic period. We have dealt with over 1.2 million contacts across our customer teams alone, we have sent out 750K comms to owners, some scary numbers and at times it has certainly felt like those volume.
I think it’s fair to say it has been the most challenging 16 months I have faced in my 35 years of working in the travel industry
I just wanted to take the time to send you this note to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU. I know it’s been a tough year so far, which is not over yet and I cannot under-estimate how much this takes out of each and every one of you and how you have all worked tirelessly to support our business both through the pandemic and with the high volume of check ins, queries and supporting owners daily that have been relentless since March 2020.
